Silver’s Price Surge

At the start of 2025, silver was trading under $29 an ounce. Today, it has already surpassed $50, and Bank of America projects it could reach $65 soon. That means silver is on track to double in price in just one year.

Normally, precious metals do not move this fast. But during times of global uncertainty, investors turn to gold and silver as “safe-haven” assets. This surge in demand is what pushes prices up so dramatically.

The Impact on Jewelry Brands

Rising silver costs affect every brand that works with precious metals. When silver itself becomes more valuable, the cost of production inevitably rises, and future jewelry prices reflect that reality.

Tariffs and Import Fees

Another important change: The free trade treaty between Mexico and the United States has been adjusted. This means imported goods, including my handcrafted jewelry, are now subject to tariff fees, which adds to the factors impacting future prices.

What This Means for You

✧ Right now is the best time to shop. If you have had your eye on a ring, bracelet, or earrings, this is your chance to secure them at the lowest price before the price increase happens (Oct/November 2025).
